One post, many forums, listed once

Publish a post to every forum where it belongs. Multiforum keeps one canonical post and gives each forum its own local context.

Each forum gets its own comment section, moderators, rules, votes, labels, and moderation state.
Subscribe to five of those forums and the post still appears once in your feed, with the other destinations shown alongside it.
Post to the broad community and the specific one without spamming either. Small forums become more useful—and more worth starting.
Archiving a post in one forum has no effect on the others or on the underlying post.
Seeing where else a post belongs is a natural way to discover communities you did not know existed.

Archive and edit are the default tools. Archiving is reversible; permanent deletion is exceptional.

Most rule-breaking starts with someone who did not know the rule, so moderators can ask for an edit before reaching for a ban.
